Another item from Country Artifacts, Great Northern Liquidation, Springfield, Vermont.
Vintage Hendryx Metal Bird Cage & Cast Iron Victorian Stand, White Inserts Birds
A fine birdcage from a nice Vermont estate.
The cage is metal and wire construction with spring loaded door and two wooden perches, white finish.
The stand has an ornate Eastlake Victorian cast iron base, also finished in white.  The hoop on top is slightly bent as shown, which isn't noticable (you may be able to bend it back if you like)
Included with the cage are two Hendryx glass feeders and the two birds shown perched (they're dusty from sitting in the estate for quite some time).
The cage also has a slide-out tray underneath for easy cleaning.
The cage hangs from the stand's hoop by a spring hook.
Overall height is 64".  The cage is 13-3/4" wide x 9" deep x 15" high excluding the feeders.  The hoop is 16-3/4" wide.
Everything is in great condition overall.  It doesn't look like it was used much in the past.  It has normal signs of age otherwise.
The stand's hoop will be removed from the base for shipment in multiple boxes.
To keep shipping costs to a minimum, we will likely stretch wrap the base and the hoop with commercial shipping stretch wrap and ship them unboxed.  The cage will be boxed as normal for shipment.  If you would like the stand parts boxed for shipment, please message us for a shipping quote.
