Lancaster Colony subsidiary INDIANA GLASS, 1970'S "Iridescent Gold Carnival Glass" - Very VG Conditions
Although the
Iridescent Gold
family of pieces were the same color, not all pieces were of the Harvest pattern (also known as Harvest Grape, [in blue, amber (gold), green,
amethyst], and Harvest Carnival).
Harvest "Grape" Set of (4) 9oz Water Goblets #1224
, 3 5/8" diam x 5 1/4"T, 12 oz ea, 48 oz total weight
Oval Center Bowl #1198
(not Harvest), 4 1/2"T (3" deep) x 8 1/2" x 12 1/8", 4# 11 oz weight
Vintage Relish Tray #1202
(not Harvest), 1 1/4"H (1" deep) x 9" x 11 1/2", 2# 14+ oz weight.
This guy has some surface scratches/cracks/imperfections, sporadically at the roll where the "dividers" meet the bottom of the tray surface. Mainly on the two end pockets. Could well have been lack of quality control as these guys were cranked out, but more likely age and use. Oldest pieces could be 48 years old.
